Terms &conditions.

These terms apply when you use the Pride Fighting Academy website, book a class, buy a pass, join as a member or buy from our shop. By doing any of these, you agree to them. If anything is unclear, ask us before you book or sign up.

01About us

02R89 trial classes

  • The R89 trial is for South African residents with a valid SA ID number. Visitors can buy a drop-in class pass instead.
  • Each person can book up to 3 trial classes.
  • Your spot is confirmed once your card payment goes through. You'll get a confirmation email with a private link to manage your booking.
  • You can move your class up to 12 hours before it starts, and cancel up to 24 hours before, using the link in your email. These times may change and are always shown on the booking page.
  • Please sign the online indemnity before your class. You'll get the link in your confirmation email.

03Drop-in and class passes

Passes can be bought online or at the front desk, must be paid before you train and are for the person who bought them. Everyone training on a pass must sign the indemnity first.

04Private lessons and personal plans

Private lessons are booked directly with the team on WhatsApp (+27 82 660 2129). Strength & conditioning and nutrition plans can be bought online, and your coach will contact you to get started.

05Membership

Memberships are for South African residents and are signed online on our join page or at the gym. When you join you agree to PFA's membership terms and conditions:

  • Missed classes cannot be made up or carried over into another month. You cannot however defer a month's training for illness or travel. Contracts cannot be put on hold over holiday periods, religious, student or otherwise. Contracts will run consecutively for the minimum 12 month period. Contracts do not cancel automatically after the contract period.
  • A student discount is applicable only to those with a valid student card.
  • Contracts will continue to run after the contract period ends unless a cancellation notice is given. Cancellation requires 1 calendar month notice to cancel the contract. Memberships will continue to run monthly unless a written notice of cancellation is given. Memberships cannot be cancelled within the first 12 months.
  • PFA does not accept responsibility for any personal injuries or damage or loss of personal property.
  • Everyone must have all their own training gear, including a large sweat towel at each session.
  • Photos and videos are taken during training for marketing and social media, please notify management should you not wish to be photographed or filmed.
  • Fees are subject to change during your contracted period.

Monthly fees are collected by debit order on the payment day you choose when you join. The debit order mandate you sign explains how collections work. The joining fee and prices are shown on our pricing page.

06Training and safety

  • Please speak to your doctor before you start training, and tell your coach about any injuries or health conditions.
  • Follow your coach's instructions and treat training partners with respect. Sparring is always optional for beginners.
  • Bring your own training gear and a large sweat towel to every session.
  • PFA may refuse entry to, or end the membership of, anyone who puts others at risk or breaks the gym rules.

PFA, its owners, employees, representatives and or agents shall not accept liability for any loss, damage or injury of any nature or death whether rising from negligence or otherwise which is suffered by any person who enters the premises.

07Shop orders

  • Prices are in South African rand and include VAT. They may change without notice. If a product shows the wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you.
  • Orders are confirmed once your card payment goes through. You'll get a confirmation email.
  • You can collect your order at the gym, or choose delivery where offered. Delivery fees and times are shown at checkout. Please give the right delivery address, as we can't be responsible for delays caused by a wrong address.
  • Product photos and descriptions are as accurate as we can make them. Products may change or sell out.

08Using our website

The content, photos and videos on this website belong to PFA and may not be copied without permission. We work hard to keep class times, prices and information up to date, but they may change. If in doubt, WhatsApp us.

To the extent the law allows, PFA's total liability for any claim about a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it.

09Your rights under the law

Nothing in these terms takes away any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

10Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always on this page. These terms are governed by South African law.
